In Dec. 2002 - JR finally reassembles Jason Ricci and New Blood. They record the CD "Feel Good Funk" featuring: Tommy Dequatro (original drummer with Duke Robillard for 11 years). He adds Argentina-born, Miami based drum and percussion hero "Monster" Maki Bergara and Bass Player Tom "Slim" Louis to New Blood. The band begins Nationally Touring immediately. Don't miss them when they come your way! In early 2004 Shawn Starski became the newest member of New Blood- adding his Awesome guitar talents to the creation and playing of the band's 'LIBERATION MUSIC'
2005 saw Jason releasing a sort-of "Best Of" Compilation: "Her Satanic Majesty Requests... Harmonica Music"... Also- Longtime drummer Maki Bergara is deported back to Venezuela and fellow Maine native Steve Johnson joins the rythym section on drums.... just in time to record Jason's July, 2005 CD release: "Blood on the Road"..... Enjoy!

I'm a harp player from Alabama and to find out he's gonna play this month on the same stage I've played a couple of dozen times, I was so psyched. I look foward for for the closed minded blues crowd in the area to have their mind blown by Jason's awesome harp antics! |

I've had the great priviledge to hear Jason live 3 times in the past 2 years. He gives all of us harp blues fans the hope, stike hope, it's the knowledge, that the true blues harp lives with all the heart it should have! I just wish he played in the NY area more often.
